Tooele is a city in Tooele County, Utah, about 30 minutes from Salt Lake City, at the foothills of Oquirrh Mountains. Tooele is known for Tooele Army Depot and the Great Salt Lake, the largest salt water lake in the Western Hemisphere. Tooele Pioneer Museum is great place to learn about the town’s history. The Tooele Carnegie Library was built in 1911. The best time to visit Tooele is at the end of June, during the Tooele Arts Festival.
