Review:
Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area is run by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. The purpose of this ranch is to keep big game animals from searching out other habitats and food during harsh winter months. The wild elk are visitors to the ranch and are given free rein to come and go. Other animals, such as sheep are fenced in for their safety. Visitors to the ranch can see the elk as they are fed daily, take a sleigh ride through the elk’s roaming area, and even take part in fishing around the area.
