1.IG Winery & Tasting Room
Conveniently located in the heart of Cedar City, IG Winery & Tasting Room is the perfect place to stop and relax after a trip to Zion National Park or Bryce Canyon National Park. The winery boasts an excellent selection of red and white wines to try, including both single varietals and blends. The grapes are sourced from some of the country's best grape-growing regions, including the Sierra Foothills and the Napa Valley. Tasting flights are offered in the winery's cozy tasting room, and visitors are also welcome to join in on one of the winery's daily tours of its production facility.

2.Mesa View Vineyards

Established in 2013, Mesa View Vineyards is an award-winning winery that was one of the first vineyards to begin growing grapes in the southwest part of the state. The vineyards can be found only a few minutes away from the city of St. George, and although they're located on private property, visitors are welcome to marvel at the grapevines and they beautiful scenery as they drive by. The grapes grown here are especially well known for producing smooth, full-bodied reds, and although there is no tasting room, Mesa View wines can be purchased at many local liquor stores.

3.Moab Castle Creek Winery

Perched overlooking the breathtaking Colorado River, Moab Castle Creek Winery is set on a historic working ranch and is the largest winery in Utah. The winery specializes in both reds and whites, and all of the wine is produced using locally-grown grapes, many of which come right from the winery's own vineyards. The on-site tasting room features a long bar and offers wine tastings every day between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., private tours and tastings are available upon request. The winery also offers a large private space with a beautiful deck that can be booked for private special events.

4.Montezuma Canyon Ranch & Vineyards

Encompassing almost 140 acres of red rock canyon land in the high desert, Montezuma Canyon Ranch & Vineyards is a family-owned farm that grows a wide range of organic crops, including wine grapes. The ranch's vineyard was first planted in the mid-1970s, and it now boasts six different types of wine grape spread out over approximately 20 acres scattered across the property. Wine production didn't start until 2007, but now hundreds of bottles of wine are made every year in a large sandstone cave that extends 50 feet deep inside a rock cliff on the property.

5.Old Town Cellars

Created with the intention of bringing delicious and affordable wine to Park City, Utah, Old Town Cellars offers red, white, and rose wine sourced from some of the best wine-producing regions in the country. All wine is blended and bottled on-site, and tastings are offered at the bar and lounge on Main Street. Wine can also be purchased by the glass or by the bottle in the lounge; craft beers and cocktails are available as well. The bar also offers a small selection of locally-made meat and chocolate for guests to enjoy along with their beverages.

6.Spanish Valley Vineyard & Winery

Found only a few miles outside of Moab, the Spanish Valley Vineyard & Winery is a charming family owned and operated winery surrounded by the beauty of Utah's red rock canyon land. The winery is especially proud of its estate wines, which include Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Gewurztraminer, but delicious non-estate wines are available as well, including refreshing fruit wines. Free tours of the vineyards and the wine-making facilities are available by request, and wine tastings are offered in the intimate on-site tasting room for a small fee. Hours of operation vary according to the season.

7.The Hive Winery and Brandy Company

One of the most unique artisan wineries in Utah, the Hive Winery and Brandy Company specializes in honey wines and fruit wines. All the wines are made with locally sourced ingredients as much as possible, and the company prides themselves on making their wine in "micro batches" that allow them to produce dozens of different varieties of wine each year. In addition to wine, they also produce a small amount of fruit brandy. All of the company's products can be purchased at their store in Layton, and tasting flights are available in-store for a small fee.
