Review:

As far back as 1934, the major of Conroe Harry M. Crighton took a historic decision of selling his drugstore to enable get enough money to venture into the then-booming oil business. His pursuit of this dream led to the construction of the famous Crighton Theatre. The majestic Crighton enjoyed much popularity and patronage until the advent of modern theatres where wide screens are adopted. After years of shutting its doors, Frank and Hallie Crighton donated the theatre to the County. Once the county received this lifelong gift, they started to consider options of renovating the structure. Over 100 stage productions have been recorded and the theater has been a delight to Conroe and neighboring counties.
