The Texas Transportation Museum is dedicated to collecting and preserving the rich history of San Antonio's transportation through a collection of artifacts and information.

Established in 1964, the Texas Transportation Museum (TTM) has a unique collection of automobiles, engines, model train layouts, and trains that are still operated on the museum’s heritage railroad known as the Longhorn and Western Railroad. Highlights at the museum include an Alamo Model Railroad Engineer's (A.M.R.E.) HO model railroad and a San Antonio Garden Railroad Engineer's Society (S.A.G.R.E.S.) G scale model railroad. Other features of the museum include a display of a custom remodeled caboose and a large outdoor pavilion for private events.
