Located in Coffee County, just 3.5 miles from Tullahoma, the Short Springs Natural Area is a popular and scenic walking and hiking destination. The spring wild-flower show in this area is known to be quite spectacular and includes many plants which are native to Middle Tennessee including trout lilies, Virginia bluebells, larkspur and southern red trillium. There is a scenic trial which leads through the towering forest thickets and along the picturesque Bobo Creek. Along the way you will see the pretty waterfalls. Visitors are invited to come and get back to nature amidst the beautiful Tennessee natural landscape – dogs are allowed on a lead.
