The Esmeralda Inn and Restaurant is a rustic-chic inn in Chimney Rock, North Carolina, located on the banks of the beautiful Rocky Broad River near Chimney Rock State Park and Lake Lure. The inn, which was originally constructed in 1891 by Colonel Tom Turner, is named for Frances Hodges Burnett's book of the same name and is home to a gorgeous lobby floor sourced from set pieces used in the feature film Dirty Dancing. 14 rooms and suites offer gorgeous ambiance and amenities such as en-suite bathrooms, flat screen televisions, and Bose Wave music systems, with private terrace access offered in upgraded rooms. Full English and Irish breakfasts are served daily at the property, with evening dining available at the inn's American-style restaurant.
