Steeped in history, The Lodge at Glendorn is a luxury resort designed in the style of the grand family camps of old. Built in 1929 by Clayton Glenville Dorn to serve as a luxury weekend getaway “family camp” for his growing family, The Lodge at Glendorn has a main lodge housed in a quaint redwood house with luxurious guest rooms and suites and 12 beautifully appointed cabins. The pristine landscapes and lakes around the lodge offer all-season activities such as swimming, fishing, canoeing and pedal boating, mountain biking, skeet- and trap-shooting and cross-country skiing.

The Lodge at Glendorn features comfortable accommodations in the form of guest rooms and suites in the main lodge building and 12 separate cabins in the surrounding forest. Constructed in the mid-1900s, cabins can accommodate up to 12 people and have full kitchens, whirlpool tubs, and outdoor decks with campfire pits, while rustic-chic rooms and suites have luxury antique furnishings and wood-burning fireplaces. All accommodations enjoy modern amenities, including flat-screen televisions with cable channels, CD players, iron and ironing boards, hairdryers, fine monogrammed linens, towels and luxurious Molton Brown bath products. Guest services include twice daily housekeeping and a nightly turndown service, complimentary bottled water, a variety of refreshments and Glendorn’s freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.
The Lodge’s main lodge accommodations feature four distinct guest rooms and suites. Located on the second floor of the main lodge, The Balcony Room features a king-sized bed with luxurious linens and an en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, monogrammed towels and luxurious Molton Brown bath products. Modern amenities include a flat-screen television with cable channels, CD player, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, complimentary bottled water, and a variety of refreshments and Glendorn’s freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. In addition to excellent guest room amenities, other guest services include a complimentary breakfast each morning, the use of onsite facilities such as a heated swimming pool (seasonal), tennis courts with rackets, Cannondale mountain, cruiser and tandem bikes, and an assortment of yard games, including croquet and bocce. Overlooking Glendorn’s 1,500-acre backyard, the Big House Terrace offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and can accommodate up to 55 guests, while the Big House Courtyard is perfect for outdoor events, particularly scenic in the spring and fall. The scenic Sun Porch is perfect for intimate gatherings of up to 30 guests, and the Forest Hideout is charming and secluded with amazing views of Pennsylvania’s magnificent Allegheny National Forest. A large private outdoor terrace with a fireplace and barbecue makes an ideal venue for up to 55 guests.
Champagne and s’mores can be enjoyed on the shores of the scenic Skipper Lake as apost-meeting or post-dinner treat, and the popular venue can be paired with another event venue as an intimate reception space for up to 25 guests.
