The United States Botanic Garden is one of the oldest of its kind in the world. It was established back in 1820 to teach people about the importance of plants to their health and that of the world. Now, 200 years later, the garden is a place of great beauty and is considered to be a living museum. It is also a wonderful place to take a romantic stroll with someone special. You can enjoy the wonderful indoor gardens of the Conservatory all year round and there is always something beautiful in bloom.
