Ferntree Rainforest Lodge is an eco-resort surrounded by a lush tropical reinforest near Cape Tribulation, between the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree National Park in Australia. The lodge is within walking distance from the white-sandy beach. Enjoy a number of vacation activities such as kayaking, great snorkeling, fishing and birdwatching on your green tropical vacation. The resort's beautiful gardens that surround low buildings are filled with colorful tropical birds and butterflies. The resort has two pools.

Poolside Rooms overlook the hotel's lagoon-style pool, while the Garden Rooms are surrounded by tropical gardens. Fly directly to Cairns and drive to the lodge, about two and half hours from the airport.

You'll have to cross the Daintree River by car ferry which is scheduled to run between 6am - 12 midnight every day, but it's a good idea to confirm the ferry schedule before you go. Coach transfers are also available from Cairns twice daily. Ask for more information when booking your stay at the lodge.
