Lush tropical grounds, hip decor and attentive service make the Golden Rock Inn in Nevis the perfect escape for couples looking for a quiet honeymoon experience. The inn is set on an old sugar plantation, complete with a restored country house and mill. Ask for one of the tranquil cottages with terraces and lush green surroundings. The property is owned by New York artists Brice and Helen Marden who thought of every detail to make your stay more comfortable, from beautiful ponds, outdoor pool with ocean views and a stylish restaurant designed by architect Ed Tuttle who is known for his work on the luxury Aman Resorts.
The Rocks restaurant is one of the best on the island. It serves Caribbean cuisine with an international twist, including fresh fish, local lobster, tropical vegetables and fruit from nearby farms. Three meals per day are served on the decks overlooking the sea or in the garden. The bar is the place to go for hand-crafted Caribbean cocktails at sunset. Guest cottages are free of TVs, phones and air conditioning, inviting you to embrace a laid-back Caribbean lifestyle. Take eomantic walks through the tropical gardens, go mountain biking and explore the secluded beaches on Nevis.
