Review:

Wm. Farmer and Sons is a rustic-chic eatery that serves farm-to-table fare that uses locally sourced ingredients and produces from farms in the Hudson Valley to create a delicious menu of market-driven fare. Named as a direct tribute to owners Kristan Keck and Kirby Farmer’s father, who played an integral role in opening the restaurant, Wm. Farmer and Sons serves a menu of classic Southern fare with inventive twists like buttermilk fried frog legs, Sunburst Appalachian trout, and roasted local chicken served with braised greens and popcorn. The bar serves well-crafted cocktails, casual wines, and local craft and microbrews, and guests can stay overnight in rustic-modern guest rooms with sliding farmhouse doors and quirky amenities.
