Review:

Founded in 1936 by Maren Gribskov and Eleanor Bechen, the Pine Tavern Restaurant is one of Bend’s best restaurants. Situated at the foot of Oregon Avenue overlooking Brooks Street, the old-school American eatery has a comfortable dining room known as the Garden Room with two gigantic Ponderosa pine trees, crisp linen-covered tables, and fine China. Renowned for its freshly baked scones with honey butter, the restaurant also serves a menu of hearty cuisine such as classic meatloaf, fried chicken, beer battered fish and chips, and barbecue baby back ribs.
