Posana is delightful contemporary American restaurant located within downtown Asheville's Historic Pack Square, offering delicious seasonally-changing menus focusing on unprocessed high-quality ingredients from more than 65 regional farmers and purveyors. The restaurant, which also operates its own garden sourcing facility in West Asheville, is helmed by owners Martha and Peter Pollay and offers dinner service Tuesdays through Sundays, with additional brunch hours on the weekends. Excellent dinner entree options include delicacies such as pan-roasted rack of lamb prepared with blood orange and feta, roasted oyster mushrooms with parsnip puree and pickled radish, and seared scallops with butter pumpkin and winter squash. At brunch, diners can choose from griddle options such as sorghum pancakes and brioche French toast, paired with a selection of unique morning cocktails such as bourbon mimosas and cider spritzers. An extensive wine selection is available from the restaurant's wine cellar, with signature cocktails, fine liquors, and gluten-free beers available from its 13-seat bar.
