The Art Center School and Galleries in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is a nonprofit organization that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for the local arts community. The center offers a fairly comprehensive art program of exhibits, lectures, workshops, art instruction, a kids summer camp, and various other activities related to the visual arts. Located right outside of the downtown district, the Art Center School and Galleries can be found inside of a red barn and is open year-round to both member artists and the local Mechansburg community. Classes offered include woodworking, jewelry, glassblowing, photography, pottery, mixed media, drawing, painting, and more.
