Review:
Under the artistic direction of Jesse Cline, The Media Theatre produces more than ten shows annually, including musicals and program for young audiences. While The Media Theatre has only been a non-profit organization for fewer than ten years, it has been entertaining and earning awards for live productions for 25 and featuring vaudeville acts and films since it opened in 1927. In 1993, it was renovated to the tune of $1 million, an amount that was able to restore its former architectural grandeur. The theatre works to educate and enrich the lives of those in Media and the surrounding areas through music theatre, helping young and old to realize that it is an important art form and cultural staple.
