Dobbin House Tavern is an historic bed and breakfast facility and tavern that was originally constructed in the 1860s as a family home for Reverend Alexander Dobbin. Today, the venue is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and can be rented for private special events, including wedding ceremonies and receptions. Its colonial-style tavern serves up award-winning meals in a unique atmosphere, while its Gettystown Inn offers up overnight lodging for the wedding party in any of nine lovely antique furnished guest rooms and suites. Events can be held at the romantic Abigail Adams Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 130 wedding guests. Onsite catering is offered by the tavern, showcasing locally-inspired menu offerings and handmade desserts.
