Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

Strange Roots Experimental Ales is a small craft brewery that started in Millvale community, just outside the Pittsburgh city limits, in a small brick building using a 2-barrel system. Their goal is to meld farmhouse brewing tradition with creative experimentation. They have an original tap room with a full kitchen and a charming outdoor beer garden where the visitors can taste their range of beers on tap. When they outgrew their original capacity, Strange Roots established an additional brewery in Gibsonia, with a simple 20-barrel brewing system and a weekend tasting room constructed from repurposed materials, surrounded by family farms, woodlands, and a small winery.
