Standard Tap is widely considered to be the first gastropub in the United States and the first brewpub to embrace Philadelphia’s renewed craft beer scene in the late 20th century. It has become a renowned favorite to diverse crowds, from hipsters and foodies to business crowds to environmentalists who commend the brewery for its sustainable practices.
