Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar was opened in Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood in 2000, with its name honoring the ongoing struggle for freedom for the island nation. The restaurant is dedicated to showcasing Criollo-style Cuban cuisine, which is known for its blend of South American, African, Asian, and Spanish culinary traditions. On Friday and Saturday nights, the restaurant is transformed into a hip nightclub, offering guest DJs spinning top salsa, merengue, and bachata hits. VIP lounge tables offer customizable cocktail service and bottle service for premium spirits, wine, and sangria and mojito pitchers.
