Franky Bradley's is a kitschy bar and restaurant in Philadelphia’s Midtown Village neighborhood, a popular LGBT-friendly spot within the city. The restaurant was originally opened in 1933 by its namesake owner, who had previously owned several luncheonette restaurants throughout the city. Throughout the mid-2oth century, the restaurant became a favorite of celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Lucille Ball, and Dick Clark. Today, it features a nightclub space decorated with quirky decor such as vintage erotic artwork and taxidermied fish. Draft and bottled beers are available, along with an extensive upscale bar menu that offers selections such as gourmet burgers, skirt steak, and shrimp scampi. The club’s upstairs space is host to a number of monthly performances, including drag shows, dance parties, and burlesque skits.
