Their signature venue is Pinot Blanc A and B, which can be rented separately for intimate weddings of 60 or fewer guests or together for a wedding of 110 seated dinner guests. The signature event space is Union/Pine and features a large open space that can be divided into smaller areas that include a living room, a middle bar, and a back room suitably sized for receptions with plenty of room for seated dinner and dancing. Alberta Abbey is northeast Portland’s tony performance and event center. The modern auditorium has theater seating for 400 (250 on the main floor, 150 in the balcony). For couples looking for the ideal setting for a romantic outdoor wedding or a traditional indoor wedding, the Abernethy Center can accommodate both, and do it with style. Outdoor ceremonies can be held at Abigail’s Garden or the Veiled Garden. Both have brick patios and white gazebos tucked into landscaped areas surrounded by trees and shrubs. They offer a level of privacy not often found at outdoor ceremonies. Abigail’s Garden is the more formal of the two. A reception tent is set back from the ceremony space. It’s surrounded by lush landscaping and has a checkerboard dance floor and seating for up to 300 guests. Abernethy Chapel and the ballroom are simple, classic spaces for indoor weddings seating 280 guests.
