Review:
Sideswipe Brewing is a Columbus brewery dedicated to creating high-quality, dynamic beers within its renovated industrial facility. Though the brewery’s taproom does not offer a kitchen menu, visitors are welcome to bring their own food or order from nearby restaurants. A foosball table, pinball machines, and board games are offered, along with a weather-permitting patio accessible from the Camp Chase Trail and Scioto Connector bike paths. Year-round brews include the brewery’s Elegant Hoodlum Smoked Stout, Fisticuffs IPA, Coop Looter Saison, Journeyman Brown Ale, and Punch Out Pale Ale. Limited release brews focus on imperial styles and seasonal styles, including the Squashing Pumpkins Ale and Defaced Imperial Red Ale.
