Review:

Established in 1978, The Pilot House was the first restaurant to open in the newly restored Chandler’s Wharf. This landmark restaurant has passionately upheld the traditions of Southern “down home cooking,” creating every dish from scratch with the freshest local products. Their menu—which fuses Southern fare with Cajun cuisine—is completely built around the local meat, seafood, fowl, and vegetables native to the area. From its local-minded commitments to its mouthwatering cuisine, it’s easy to see why The Pilot House has gained attention from numerous publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Southern Living Magazine.
