The Climbing Place in Fayetteville is the most well known and oldest climbing gym in the state of North Carolina. Originally opened in the early part of the 1990’s the gym has stood the test of time, still going strong today. The facility consists of approximately twenty thousand square feet of space for climbing, including a cargo net, campus boards, military ropes, slacklines, obstacles, travers, ledge, top out, bouldering, top, rope, and even Ninja Warrior. The Climbing Place features a gym traverse measuring more than three hundred feet, lead climbing for advanced climbers, and fifty top ropes.
