The Museum of the Cape Fear Historical Complex showcases almost four hundred year of local history that intertwines patriotism and patriots. As visitors meander their way through the two floors of historical exhibits, they will be surrounded by the circumstances that have determined patriotism in the past. Exhibits at the Museum of Cape Fear include a general store, pottery, toys, textiles, agriculture implements, the Civil War, the Antebellum years, the Revolutionary War, Socttish immigration, exploration and settlement of early Europeans, and Native American. The purpose of these exhibits is to ask and answer questions about the past and how it has influenced the present.
