The Sayen House and Gardens are located in the historic Hamilton Square and offer a welcoming haven for history buffs, garden lovers, and nature enthusiasts alike. Open to the general public from dawn until dusk throughout the entire year, the park is particularly popular during the spring. The Sayen House and Gardens was founded when Frederick Sayen bought the land in 1912. He built an Arts and Crafts style “bungalow” home surrounded by flowers and plants Sayen acquired during his world travels. The garden opened in 1991 to the public and now contains rhododendrons, azaleas, walking trails, gazebos, ponds, and more.
