Review:
Ox-Bow is an art school that two Chicago artists, Frederick Fursman and Walter Marshall, opened in 1910. It’s situated on a 115- acre campus and provides year-round programs for professional artists, degree-seeking students and those who are new to art. The school offers course credit for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. These classes can fulfill degree requirements as well as off-campus study requirements. New and future students can apply for work scholarships or financial aid through Ox-Bow. After being in operation for over a century, Ox-Bow's mission still remains — to be a haven for artistic expression through instruction, example, and community.
