The Salem Witch Museum is a museum dedicated to the famous dark period of time in Salem’s history known as the Salem witch trials of 1692. The museum’s main exhibit is based on official trial documents from the time period. The exhibit comprises 13 life-sized stage sets brought to life with figures, lights, and moving narration. The museum also has an exhibit about the history of witches in popular culture, including witchcraft practices today, the practice of witch hunting, and various stereotypes related to witches. The museum is open all year round, and group tours are available.
