Attleboro is a city in Bristol County, Massachusetts, on the banks of the Bungay River, about 39 miles from Boston. It was once known as "The Jewelry Capital of the World". Many jewelry manufacturing companies still operate in Attenboro. The city has a lovely riverfront park, a thriving zoo with more than 100 animals, and a renowned Attleboro Arts Museum. Attleboro has a beautiful downtown with many turn of the 20th century meticulously renovated buildings.
