The Catoctin Wildlife Preserve in Thurmont extends across approximately fifty acres and is home to around one thousand exotic animals and amazing experiences. Along with the wandering wildlife, the preserve features lush landscaping, natural ponds, and more just waiting for visitors to explore. Animals that can be seen at the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve include everything from alligators to zebras, pythons to panthers, and monkeys to macaws. Guests can also take a 60-minute Safari Ride to view animals from nearly every continent as they travel through four different paddocks and across 25 acres. Note that Safari Rides are an add-on to general admission.
