One of the best ways to explore Havre de Grace is by foot, and visitors can explore the city’s historic downtown district street by street care of the Lafayette Trail . This three-mile trail is a continuous loop that passes by all the downtown area’s major points of interest. Stroll through magnificent and charming tree-lined streets on this self-guided tour which begins at the beautiful Lockhouse Museum in North Park. The trail, which is lined by fleur de lis markers, passes by iconic structures in the city such as the Marquis de Lafayette Statue, the Jean Roberts Park, David Craig Park, Frank J. Hutchins Memorial Park, the Maritime Museum, and the Concord Point Lighthouse, just to name a few.
