Review:

The Baltimore Basilica is one of the nation’s most historic places of worship, as well as an American architectural masterpiece. Guests can take advantage of one of the free daily tours of the basilica led by a docent. Visitors can take the “purple circulator” bus for free to the Baltimore Basilica from the Amtrak station or the Inner Harbor. Thomas Jefferson intervened in the planning of the church and influenced the design of the National Historic Landmark, intending the church to be a statement in the city of religious freedom. The dome of the basilica has a diameter of seventy-five feet.
