Renowned as one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in Annapolis,The Reynolds Tavern is a beautifully restored tavern that offers luxurious accommodations in a historical setting. Situated on Church Circle in the heart of the Historic District, Reynolds Tavern exudes the grace and elegance of an 18th-century establishment and is the oldest tavern in Annapolis. Reynolds Tavern consists of four levels – the cellar, which used to be the original kitchen, is home to the 1747 Pub and features low ceilings, brick floors, and the original stone foundations and stairwell dating back to the 18th century. The first floor features the tea rooms, while the second floor of the tavern has three beautifully appointed guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms and stylish décor. Reynolds Tavern serves a full lunch menu, a traditional English afternoon tea, and sumptuous dinners in the cozy dining room alfresco-style in the outdoor courtyard. Reynolds Tavern is ideally located for exploring the city and is just a short walk from the Maryland State House and the United States Naval Academy.
