Beautifully positioned on Frenchman’s Bay, just 8 miles from Ellsworth, Lamoine State Park is an ideal place to spend your summer sea-side vacation.
This campground has 62 primitive campsites (no hookups) suitable for tents or RV’s up to 45 feet. Most visitors come here to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the campground which is away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, but still offers easy access to Arcadia National Park.
On site activities include boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking and wildlife watching during the summer season, and cross-country skiing in winter. At the end of an active day you can come home to a hot shower and toasted marshmallows around the camp fire.
