Established in 1985, Sun Valley Farm is a family-owned and operated Thoroughbred nursery that rears, sells, and exports Thoroughbred stakes horses. A breathtakingly beautiful thoroughbred breeding farm in Woodford County, Sun Valley Farm is home to the historic Samuel Pepper homestead, which was built in 1831 and owned by Samuel Pepper, the son of Elijah Pepper, pioneer master distiller. Today, the homestead is carefully preserved by the Woodford Reserve Distillery. A variety of farm tours are available daily, highlighting day-to-day life on a working Thoroughbred farm nursery.
