Built in 1797, the Jack Jouett House Historic Site was once home to American Revolution hero Captain Jack Jouett, Jr., who served in both the Kentucky and Virginia general assemblies.

He was also part of the Constitutional Convention during which Kentucky became a state. The site today features a stone cabin from the 1780’s, which was converted by Jouett to a kitchen.

Tours are typically available on Saturdays, as well as Friday and Sunday afternoons. Tours of the Jack Jouett House Historic Site can also be scheduled by appointment. There is no admission fee to visit the site.
