Villa Borghese Gardens is an 18th-century, naturalistic English-style landscape garden including numerous attractions, buildings, and museums, such as Galleria Borghese.

Rome’s third largest public park, it was created by architect Flaminio Ponzio and spans nearly 198 acres. Several vendors are scattered throughout the park selling souvenirs, maps, refreshments, and ice cream, as well as four-person bike rentals, and nine sightseeing walking routes.

The park’s highlights include its ‘Villas in the gardens’ such as Casino Borghese, home to sculptures by Bernini, including Daphne and David. Other notable points of interest include the Zoological Museum, and a replica built in 2003 of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
