I always enjoy visiting lakeside towns and Sandpoint was just perfect. Stroll along the small, welcoming downtown, go hiking or skiing in the winter.

Sandpoint is located on US-95 and US-2, about 1.5 hours northeast of Spokane, WA. It's 45 minutes north of Coeur d’Alene. If you don't want to drive, Amtrak’s Empire Builder stops in Sandpoint. It connects to Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, and Chicago.
