Lake Wenatchee State Park welcomes nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to its grounds for all kinds of recreational activities. The park features a number of trails perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and even horseback riding, and also has great opportunities for watersports in the summer like white-water kayaking, windsurfing, and sailboarding. In the winter, the Lake Wenatchee State Park is a wonderland for snowmobiling, skiing, dog sledding, and cross-country skiing too. Alternative activities include mountain and rock climbing, fishing, shellfish harvesting, and camping opportunities. During the summer months, the park hosts a Junior Ranger program for youngsters to enjoy, while interpretative snowshoeing trails are also quite a draw when the snow comes.
