Nahuel Huapi National Park is named for Nahuel Huapi, the largest glacial lake within its borders. This park is located within the lake district of Argentina, with the gorgeous and jagged Andes as a tall snow-capped backdrop on the western edge. Nahuel Huapi is home to some beautiful nature and hiking, and visitors can even see Mount Tronador, which is a dormant volcano. It’s one of the oldest parks in Argentina and, with over one million acres of lakes, forests, rivers, and meadows packed with native wildflowers, visitors will pretty much never run out of places to explore.
