Review:

The Pyramid of Djoser was built for Djoser, a 3rd Dynasty pharaoh, about 4,700 years ago. Imhotep, who was Djoser's vizier, designed the pyramid, and the shape of the structure is noticeably different from the more famous Great Pyramid of Giza. Djoser's pyramid has six steps, so it is also referred to as the Step Pyramid at Saqqara.
