Once home to top secret military operations which saw the development of air-launched rockets, Hangar 1301 at the Dover Army Airfield is now home to the Air Mobility Command Museum. Today the museum is home to more than 30 vintage aircraft as well as various exhibits which tell the story of many humanitarian, airlifting and air-refueling breakthroughs. Visitors can admire all these historic aircraft as well as watching thrilling video documentaries about actual air missions and battles including the Korean War air-lift. You can also visit the Hallway of Heroes to see photos of many decorated armed forces personnel and some on-going restoration projects.
