Established in 2003 by a small group of history enthusiasts, the Pahrump Valley Museum welcomes all interested visitors to come and learn more about the history and culture of the Nye County and surrounding areas. The museum allows visitors to step back in time and admire a variety of exhibits which include Native American artifacts, as well as many artifacts brought to the area by early Anglo settlers, prospectors and farmers. The museum is proud to offer 6 interactive touch-screen monitors and two large TV monitors where you can learn all about the “Good Old Days” in the Pahrump Valley. The museum is open 6 days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday.
