Crested Butte, CO is a snowboarding destination for the entire family. While over half of the 1,547 acres of the mountain’s terrain is geared towards advanced riders, the resort offers fun for beginners as well on the groomed runs extending from the Paradise Express Lift. Those new to snowboarding can also practice in one of Crested Butte’s three terrain parks, which feature jibs, rails, and boxes. Visitors can also explore the resort area by snowbike, snowshoes, or zipline. Known as the “last great ski town” of Colorado, Crested Butte is an ideal mountain spot year-round.
