Lendonwood Gardens is an eight-acre non-profit botanical garden in Grove, Oklahoma. This lush green garden is famous for colorful blooms from more than 1,500 plant species divided into six distinct garden areas: colorful display garden near the entrance, oriental garden, Japanese pavilion, English terrace garden, American backyard garden and the azalea garden. A leisurely walk along paths shaded by massive oak trees will take visitors to the Japanese Pavilion in the center of the main garden. The trail passes by the relaxing koi pond and through surrounding perennial and annual beds. Lendonwood also includes bonsai garden, Japanese maple grove with 75 varieties, hosta garden, 25 kids of dogwoods and huge collections of false cypress and rhododendrons. The Angel of Hope statue, surrounded by a verdant peaceful garden is a lovely relaxing area.
