Located at the southernmost end of the Antebellum Trail, Macon boasts unique attractions, a beautiful historic district and more buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places than any other city in the state. There are several beautiful Greek Revival mansions you can tour in Macon. Other major attractions include the Tubman Museum, the Rose Hill Cemetery, and the Ocmulgee National Monument.

The city is also known for having a strong soul music heritage, and on Fridays and Saturdays, you can take a guided tour of the places in the city that have inspired its many musical legends.
