The Henry Miller Memorial Library is an art hub and bookstore in Big Sur that promotes the literary and artistic works of famous author and Big Sur resident Henry Miller.
The nonprofit center focuses on good conversation, freedom of thought, good art, food, and wine and serves as a cultural experience for both visitors and residents alike.
The library hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including author appearances, book signings, lectures, symposiums, live music, and community events, such as The Big Sur International Short Film Screening Series, Big Sur Writing Workshops, Big Sur Sound and Story, and the Big Sur Fashion Show.
