Situated along both sides of the River Rhine, The Garden of Two Shores connects the borders of France and Germany with a bridge. It’s often filled with people walking or biking across the bridge looking out onto the gorgeous views of the gardens on either side. The 150-hectare cross-border garden is lovely throughout the year, has a playground for children, and hosts several events such as circus performances, concerts, floral exhibitions, and much more. The garden, which is an ongoing symbol of friendship between the two countries, has even played host to the 2009 NATO summit meeting.
