Your visit to Charlotte would be incomplete without taking the time to visit the inspirational Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens on the banks of Lake Wylie in Belmont. The beautiful Visitor’s Pavilion provides your first glimpse of the gardens and gives a hint of the beauty that lies ahead. There are several themed gardens to admire, starting with the Four Seasons Garden which is pretty spectacular all year round. One of the most popular exhibits has to be the five-storey high Orchid Conservatory, but each of the other garden areas has its own charm and beauty.
