Owned and operated by the National Park Service, the Lewis Lake Campground is a reservable campground that is situated just a stone’s throw from the southeastern shore of Lewis Lake. It sits at an elevation of 7,800 feet, or 2,377 meters, and features a nearby boat ramp for guests who want to enjoy canoeing, kayaking, or motorboating around the lake. The campground is open to visitors during the summer and fall months and is perfect for campers who want to fully disconnect from the outside world as it has no cell phone reception or internet connectivity. A total of 85 campsites are available at the Lewis Lake Campground with areas for wood and charcoal fires.
